Don't Throw in the Towel!

hello, there! good morning ladies! this is more of a status than a post today. i'm feeling great! i am going to be leaving for work in a few so i thought i would do a weight-loss update before i go.

weight-loss update- so far i've lost only a pound since my last update. i am currently on 174lb. however, i'm not giving up or throwing in the towel. i still have a long way to go. i also still maintain eating healthy which is IMPORTANT if your not hitting the gym 5/7 a week. i'm not go lie the last couple of day i've missed my workouts because i've been feeling lazy and looking for "excuses" to exempt me from going, but last night i HAD to find motivation on google or online to get my behind to the gym. i had to remember why i started and that it will be all worth it when i reach my goal! :)

that is all for my weight-loss journey update. i get off early today so maybe later i post about relationships. something that's been on my mind lately. maybe you can weigh in too.!

OFFICIALLY 20lbs DOWN!

YES! I'm winning ladies, I can proudly now say I have reached my 20lb goal. I am beyond excited, motivated and more driven to not stop!

Since my last post my weight was at 177lbs. I am now at 175lbs and maintaining at this weight level. This means that i have lost 20lbs! Yay meee! I'm so glad that not only have i lost 20lbs to this day but STILL keep at 175lbs even if I'm not losing more weight any faster. Losing the weight is awesome! I love seeing the results of my hard work on my body but what is even more amazing is that I'm not gaining! That is a big PLUS.

I have been changing my workout routines, which I can see are helping me a whole bunch! Into the next month of October I will be doing 2x a day workouts 5/7 of the week to get faster results.

Now i wish i can say i don't have no cheats because that would be an absolute lie! I do allow to treat myself with something sweet. However, i have learned to keep it at just a small treat on my awesome work so far! I'm also getting really good with portion control now. Unlike before where i would have double or even triple portions! :/

I would also like to share with you some of my favorite snacks which include apples, and nuts like almonds and pistachios. Mmmm. Green tea is also a must along with WATER.

I have set some goals for my weight loss journey from the beginning. They are:

START = 195lbs

Aug. 14, 2013 - 10lbs
Sept. 14, 2013 - 10lbs
Oct. 14, 2013 - 15lbs
Nov. 14, 2013 - 15lbs
Dec. 14, 2013 - 10lbs
Jan. 14, 2013 - 5lbs
Feb. 14, 2013  - 130lbs - GOAL

TOTAL LOSS = 65lbs

So far so good! Gotta keep positive and motivated at all times even thru those rough patches! YOU want to start feeling good and change YOUR life for YOU!? What you waiting for?? If i can do it so can you! So get outta this page and screen and make your plan for a new you!

My Weight-Loss Journey!

Hello there! I know I haven't posted on this blog in a longg while but hopefully i can change that soon and start posting at least 2X a week. (lets see how this goes lol)

MY WEIGHT LOSS JOURNEY has begun! Yes, it has. I can officially say I have been fighting this since the beginning of this year. I failed at least 3 diets i tried to start. Although i failed i sure did learn a bit from each one that i did.

On my 1st "diet trial" i learned how to let go sodas which was one my ultimate no no drink. It was just so convinent everywhere especially at my job. Slowly taking day by day it became easier. Till this day I can say I can be around so and not have the urge to reach for it! Water is my drink now. I drink at least a gallon a day.

On my 2nd "diet trial" I had to learn to stay and keep away from one of my favorite/unhealthy places to eat, McDONALD'S! Yes, that's right I'm a junky when it come to that place. I know its bad bla bla bla. So when hitting the drive thru EVERY OTHER DAY started to take a toll on my body I decided to quit! I now stay away from fast foods especially McDONALD'S and choose to stock up on healthy foods like fruits and nuts to snack on. Apples have slowly become a FAVORITE fruit of mine since starting back up in Aug. I thought I would never say that.

On my 3rd "diet trail" I had to learn consistency. Yes. For going to the gym. I had to push my self to go to the gym and burn my fat off.

4th time! - I am currently on my 4th diet of this year and I'm not gonna call it a "diet trial" because this time I'm motivated than ever to SUCCEED! My journey to better myself and lose this fat started Aug. 14 2013. Since Aug. 14 to now Sept. 14 (a month later) I have lost 18lbs +counting. I'm so proud I can see the change but I can't wait to see the final results and until I get to that moment I cannot and will not give up! If you are to determined to change for the better I wish you the same!
